Wow! What a trip we had a to Fort Ross! Thank you SO much for supporting our Living History experience by sending them in such thoughtful costumes, with hearty snacks packed and a positive attitude. The kids did GREAT! I guarantee these kids will NEVER forget how hard it must have been living at Fort Ross in the 1800s!
A HUGE thank you to all the AWESOME parent volunteers who came with us on the adventure! Alissa, Anna, Amber, Aston, Cherrise, Stacy, Candace, Eric, Jeff, and Nancy thank you so much for bringing this experience alive for the kids - it would not have been possible without you!
Continuing our Sonoma County History unit - we are heading out to Sturgeon’s Mill THIS Friday to check out a steam powered sawmill - a working museum to learn more about what early logging in our area was like! Please be sure to get your permission slips in ASAP and send sack lunches on Friday. Sorry about the late notice!
